Darters from Benguet and nearby towns are ready for the Strawberry Festival P300,000 National Dart Tournament set March 8 to 10 at the Adivay Sports Bar, La Tri-nidad, Benguet.

Organized by the Adivay Sports Bar in partnership with the municipality of La Trinidad, the activity is sanctioned by the National Darts Federation of the Philippines. 

The event will feature eight ca-tegories for all ages and is considered an NDFP national ranking activity. 

The categories are fixed doubles with P600 per pair entry fee, classified draw doubles at P400, fixed four-person team with P2,500 fee per team, classified draw triples at P400, golden singles 50 years old and above and ladies singles with P200 fee, open singles with P600 fee, and the youth singles for free.

The match format will be single knockout with best of five and best of seven in the finals in all the categories, except for the youth singles with best of three and finals best of five, and the open singles with best of seven and best of nine in the finals.

Participants must wear proper attire: collared shirts, slacks pants, and black shoes according to organizers.

The winner of the throw at the bull starts the match. In all decision legs, the order of play shall be followed.

The open singles and ladies singles seeding is based on the NDFP ranking, while the youth singles include 18 years old and below. The tournament committee is the final arbiter in case of disputes.

Cash prizes and trophies await top winners including a P10,000 cash prize to be given to the nine-darter sponsored by Robson Sportscraft. 

The event is backed by the Baguio-Benguet and CAR Darters and Robson Sportscraft, with the latter providing the official dartboard which is the Robson razor bladewire dartboard.
