City Trending Now EID AL-FITR Share this:FacebookX April 30, 2023 EID AL-FITR — Muslims based in Baguio and Benguet gathered at the Melvin Jones football field on April 22 to pray, as they observed Eid Al-Fitr, or the end of the Ramadan, which is also known as the “festival of breaking the fast”. The Eid day celebration starts with a prayer service that takes place shortly after dawn, followed by a short sermon. Traditionally, it is celebrated for three days in Muslim-majority countries.
