In a post in its social media account, the publication said among the 27 finalists in the prestigious awards are “Brighter Perspectives: Journey toward Healing, Self-love and Joy” by Evangeline Patal-e Dao-anis for the Youth category; “The 25-Centavo Change: A Tale of Loss and Values Gained” by MJ Leonardo-Gambulao for the Family Life category; “#FYFMFollow You Follow Me: A Pilgrim’s Gospel” by Malou Coronacion for the Spirituality category; and “Journey to a Better You: Step-by-Step guide to Improve Yourself and Live the Life You’ve Always Wanted” by Liza Pong-et Parantac for the Inspirational category.

The books were published by the newly established Messenger of Hope Book Publishing based in Baguio.

“This came as a big surprise. We thank Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Awards for this. The winners are still to be announced in November but for us, this is already a huge win,” posted Chris Dao-anis, author and director of Messenger of Hope Book Publishing.

The 15th Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Awards ceremonies will be on Nov. 19, 4 p.m., at the Manila International Online Book Fair.
