FRUITY & FRUTO — Sablan, Benguet’s mascot is now a couple, as the first mascot Fruity has a partner in Fruto that was introduced during the closing program of the 9th Sablan Fruit Festival, which was celebrated for the whole month of August with the theme, “Fruits of harmony: Celebrating nature’s symphony”. The mascots represent the bounty of the municipality which is known as the fruit basket of Benguet and aims to grow more varieties of fruits. — Ofelia Empian
