FUR HEROES HONORED — Two Belgian Maliones, Zeus and Balsy, who served the Police Regional Office-Cordillera for years, were honored after the command has decided it is time for them to retire from service. Zeus served the PNP for seven years as a search and rescue dog while Balsy, the first police dog to serve the regional command and for nine years, served as an explosive and detection dog. PNP commendation medals were also conferred to M/Sgt. Arman L. Acangan and Pat. Cyrus Backeng, the handlers of Balsy and Zeus, respectively. — PRO-COR photo
