The Advanced Manufacturing Center of the Department of Science and Technology Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC) demonstrated the use of the three-dimensional printer being promoted by the agency to aid in the design of various needs from businesses, local government units, to households. Here, Denise Daryl Florante of MIRDC showed the replica of the first and largest 3D-printed 12.5-foot monument of Dr. Jose Rizal which was launched last year at the DOST Central Office Taguig City. The demonstration is part of the 2022 National Science and Technology Week in Cordillera from Sept. 20 to 22 at the Benguet State University gym. — Ofelia C. Empian
