GIANT CAKE FOR 107 YEARS — Benguet State University served a giant cake that is over 2,000 slices on Sept. 28 to students and guests during the BSU Everlasting Festival, as part of its week-long 107th foundation anniversary from Sept. 25 to 29 with the theme“Beaming with pride, sustaining engagements and excellence, unfolding medical futures today and beyond.” The university started as a gardening class of Grade 5 pupils in 1916, and has evolved through the years into a premiere university in the country, catering not only students from Cordillera but also from beyond. — Ofelia C.
