A local golf event will be back at the Lepanto Golf Course in Sapid, Mankayan, Benguet on Feb. 12 to 13.
The golf-for-a-cause, which is expected to draw players from Baguio and Benguet, will adopt the scramble format as the mode of play, which allows a player to choose a partner for a two-man team.
The event will not be a 36-hole competition, but the teams will choose on the date they are available to play for 18 holes during the tournament.
Registration fee per team is P2,000 inclusive of individual raffle entry and lunch.
Cash prizes and certificates await the team champion, including the first and second runners-up.
Event organizer Lepanto Gems Inc. is reminding all would-be participants that minimum public health standards, along with other protocols set by the municipal Inter-Agency Task Force, will be imposed during the two-day event.
