LAMUT, Ifugao –The Presidential Assistant for Northern Luzon has been officially adopted as a daughter of the municipality of Lamut through Resolution 2024-20-57.

Assistant Secretary Ana Carmela Ventura-Remigio was given the name “Immayya,” which means beautiful, and embodies qualities of kindness and sincerity. Immayya was also known for fiercely and lovingly protecting the Ifugao people.

Mayor Victomar Bunnol and Vice Mayor Everda Desiree Dulinayan acknowledged the important role of Remigio in granting the local government unit’s request to declare April 5 as a non-working day in celebration of the municipality’s founding anniversary.

The LGU also recognized the official’s unwavering support, which has been instrumental in the development of the municipality.

“Truly, I am grateful that you have adopted me into the town of Lamut,” said Remigio, who was donned with Ifugao native  attire during the adoption rite.

Remigio served as the guest of honor and speaker during the culminating program of Lamut’s 65th founding anniversary and annual town fiesta. – Florida B. Robles
