Crisologo of Lagayan, Abra led the distribution of environment-friendly fishing gear as a replacement for the surrendered prohibited electrofishing devices, recently. The burning of illegal fishing devices is in compliance to Republic Act 10654, or the law that prevents, deters, and eliminates illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing in the region. — V.
