RIZAL, Kalinga – Female officers of the 1st Kalinga Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st KPMFC) recently came to the aid of a mother seeking help for her ailing child.
Myla Kaye Cabilangan of San Pascual, this municipality posted on social media her plea for help for her daughter Micaella Grace Antonio who is suffering from hydrocephalus and in need of milk and diapers.
The women in uniform pooled their money to buy basic needs for the child.
The unit, under the supervision of 1st KPMFC OIC, Lt/Col. Jethro Ognayon Moog, through “Project Kabadang,” delivered on March 10 assorted groceries, rice, milk, and diapers to the family which they hope can ease the family’s burden.
Project Kabadang, formerly known as “Blessings ko, share ko,”  is a best practice by the 1st KPMFC’s  in which the unit  together with its Advisory Council members raise funds, usually from their contributions and donations from other stakeholders.
The funds raised are used to extend assistance to persons, family, or a community in need.
Cabilangan thanked the 1st KPMFC for their generosity. – Peter A. Ba-locnit
