KINGDOM OWNER HAILED — The city government of Baguio led by Mayor Benjamin Magalong and Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan commended through a resolution Pio Velasco, the owner and builder of the now famous Stone Kingdom at Pinsao Proper for his contributions to the tourism industry in the Summer Capital. The Stone Kingdom covering an area of 6,000 square meters is arguably one of the newest tourism attractions in the city, as it also highlights the ingenuity of the Igorots, especially in building a stone-walled theme park. — Harley Palangchao
