City officials recently requested the City Buildings and Architecture Office, City Engineering Office, and the City Environment and Parks Management Office to submit their reports on unimplemented projects and to provide their recommendations for enactment of remedial measures.
In Resolution 511, s. 2023, the city council said inclusion of unimplemented projects in the annual audit report of the Commission on Audit signified their acknowledgement of challenges, delays or other factors that may have hindered the execution of certain projects.
The council said transparency will allow for a comprehensive assessment of the city’s performance, paving the way for informed decision-making and future planning. – PIO release
