In celebration of Independence Month this June, SM City Baguio is embarking on a campaign called #Pinoypreneur, which supports and promotes local businesses.
The campaign also aims to foster a sense of national pride and encourage shoppers to buy local.
Launched on June 1, the #Pinoypreneur campaign provides shoppers with the opportunity to discover, connect with, and support eight remarkable Cordilleran owned businesses.
The exhibit showcases a diverse range of products and services, including fashion, food and beverage, home decor, and art, among other things.
From emerging talents to established enterprises, each entrepreneur brings a distinctive story, heritage, and innovation to the table.
Among the crowd’s favorite stalls are Hill Station Bistro, James Wright Café, and Kape Agamang, which takes you back to a fragment of Baguio’s past.
Shoppers also show great interest in local pasalubong products from Naduma, Pasarabo Ilocandia, and Ron & Mar.
Whether satisfying new snacking habits or moments of indulgence, Spoonful Delights and Divine Indulgence are also highly sought after by customers.
The #Pinoypreneur set up is not complete without the artworks from Tam-awan Village Artists, which bring the public up close and personal with the creations of local talent.
From June 1 to 12, shoppers visiting SM City Baguio can find dedicated spaces and displays at the lower ground atrium showcasing a wide array of locally-made products.
These spaces will serve as a focal point for shoppers to explore and engage with a wide range of products proudly crafted by Filipino hands.
By providing a platform for micro, small, and medium enterprises to reach a wider customer base, SM City Baguio hopes to contribute to the growth and sustainability of these enterprises. – Press release
