Members and consumers of Benguet Electric Cooperative can now view their bills online.

The electric distribution utility launched on Jan. 1 the Customer Web Portal that allows member-consumers to view their monthly bills and download their statement of account, among other things.

Through the customer portal, which can be accessed through https://portal.beneco.com.ph/,  member-consumers may review their monthly electricity consumption and payments.

To view these details however, member-consumers must first register with the portal by inputting an account name and account number, email address with password, and mobile number.

The member-consumers need to validate the email address they registered with the portal before they can log in and view their accounts.

Before they can view their billing and individual ledger, member-consumers must create an account through the “Manage Billing Account” under the billing accounts tab. Aside from the amounts paid, the ledger contains details, such as the kilowatt-hour used.

They can also view or download their monthly billing statement once their accounts are created.

The portal also allows member-consumers to edit or update their account information or the details they provided when they registered.

Beneco said with the customer web portal, member-consumers no longer have to go to its offices to inquire about their bills.

Applicants for service connection can also view the schedule of the pre-membership education seminar and the list of requirements in the online portal.

The list of Beneco payment centers and accredited contractors is available at the portal. Information about electricity rates, downloadable forms, and other resources are also available at the Customer Web Portal. – Jane B. Cadalig
