Additional activities including an art workshop, exhibit launching, and child development center engagement through the Baguio City Public Library (BCPL) are slated for the 30th National Children’s Month (NCM) celebration.
An art workshop/exhibit will be launched today, Nov. 20, at Camp John Hay Manor grounds, spearheaded by the City Social Welfare and Development in coordination with the Department of Tourism, Department of the Interior and Local Government, and other government agencies, Sin-agi artists, the office of councilors Elmer Datuin and Leandro Yangot, Jr., and several private establishments.  
Interested teenagers aged 14 to 18 may join the art workshop, which would prepare them for an exhibit/competition later.
A book character parade contest will be held on Nov. 21 to 26 for barangay child representatives by personnel of the BCPL headed by Easter Wahayna-Pablo.
There will be a school engagement at Camp 7 Elementary School on Nov. 25 and a Child Development Center engagement on Nov. 28 for Brookspoint and South Sanitary Camp by the BCPL staff members.       
A child protection forum is scheduled on Dec. 3 by the CSWD. The venue is still to be decided.
The Federation of Baguio Council for the Protection of Children will hold a Children Got Talent as part of the closing ceremonies on Dec. 10 at the Pedro Dumol Hall of the Benguet Electric Cooperative office at South Drive.
