Combined police units of Baguio, Batangas, and Calabarzon have captured a former police officer who is in the list of the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s top most wanted persons in the Cordillera for incestuous rape.
Baguio City Police Office Director, Col. Allen Rae Co, reported the arrest of the suspect with an initial of RSO on March 2 in Lipa City, Batangas by elements of BCPO, Lipa City Police Station; and city, provincial, and regional intelligence units and divisions of Baguio, Lipa, Batangas, and Calabarzon.
The suspect is facing criminal charges for incestuous rape and subject of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Iluminada Cabato of the Baguio City Regional Trial Court Branch 59.
He is listed in the DILG’s list of top most wanted persons of Cordillera with a monetary reward of P135,000 for his arrestbased on DILG Memorandum Circular 2021-022.
Co said based on reports, RSO is a former police officer who was dropped from the roll of the Philippine National Police in February 2006 and is a suspect for sexually abusing his daughter, then a minor, on Jan. 1, 2006 in Baguio City. 
The suspect is currently under the temporary custody of Lipa CPS pending his return to the court that issued the warrant.
Co said the BCPO is determined to put behind bars all wanted persons regardless of their status, position, or affiliation. – Hanna C. Lacsamana
