The National Economic Development Authority-Cordillera, through the Regional Project Monitoring Committee, launched its Online Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (eRPMES).
The eRPMES is a jumpstart to integrate and harmonize all program and project monitoring activities at the regional and sub-regional levels in the Cordillera.
Through the system, project implementers are provided a digital platform to enroll their programs and projects and submit and generate periodic accomplishment and monitoring reports. The eRPMES will facilitate timely paperless report submission and access to updated project data and information.
The system is complemented by the RPMES dashboard, a data visualization tool that aids in making data easier to understand by the public.
Maria Veronica A. Eslao of NEDA-Cordillera demonstrated the submission of reports, including the navigation of the system’s controls.
Among the features of the system highlighted during the demonstration are project status tracking, automated report generation, and report submission notification.
With the high demand for mainstreaming technology in the government, the RPMC recognizes the critical role of project implementers who act as data providers in the eRPMES.
The system’s full operationalization will only be realized through the collaborative efforts of its stakeholders – project implementers, local project monitoring committees, private sector representatives and other partner stakeholders.
In return, NEDA-Cordillera committed its full support in the familiarization of the eRPMES to project implementers. Hands-on training for the agencies is presently ongoing.
