The BPPO Pailaw Program is an initiative that intends to provide stable source of electricity through the provision of solar panels to households in far-flung communities in the province that are yet to be reached by the lines of the Benguet Electric Cooperative.

In February, the BPPO under Col. Damian Olsim together with Gov. Melchor Diclas who is also the PAGPTD Chair, turned over solar panel energy system to four households in Poblacion, Kibungan.

The solar panels were funded by another fund-raising activity that was initiated during the Benguet Foundation and Adivay Festival in November. – Jane B. Cadalig
