A wellness lecture/workshop will also be held on Nov 24, 2 to 4 p.m. at the University of Cordillera (UC) Auditorium, with the aim of educating citizens on science-based data on why plant-based food is best for preventing diseases, restoring health, and living longer productive lives; and how to prepare simple, affordable, nutritious, and delicious meals and how all of these positively impacts our natural ecosystems and environment.

The lecture/workshops will include Dr. Annabelle Pabiona-de Guzman from the Department of Health, wellness coach and organizer Danilo Quinto, and environmental experts from Cepmo and City Planning, Development, and Sustainability Office.
