SAN JUAN, Abra – The San Juan Municipal Police Station (MPS) has undergone recently the evaluation process for the Institutionalization Level of the Performance Governance System (PGS) of Philippine National Police.

The institutionalization of the PGS of the MPS reflects its commitment to good governance in partnership with different stakeholders.

The PGS has four stages, namely initiation stage, compliance stage, proficiency stage, and institutionalization stage.

The San Juan MPS is the first municipal unit to undergo the evaluation process for the institutionalization stage.

The evaluation in different areas and elements included focus group discussions and direct interview of the locals.

During the evaluation program, San Juan MPS Chief of Police, Cpt. Rebecca Bilog recognized the steadfast support of its different stakeholders and partners, particularly the members of the Municipal Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (MAGPTD).

“Through the unending support of our partners and stakeholders, we were able to attain these accomplishments and breakthroughs. We made an impact in keeping San Juan more peaceful and orderly through the years,” Bilog said.

San Juan Mayor and MAGPTD chairperson Meynardo Bautista lauded the MPS for religiously keeping the town safe and peaceful for everyone.

Bayat ti panag-mayor ko ditoy, awan ti problema ti LGU San Juan kadagiti kapulisan, nu di ket nasayaat ken na-linteg ti partnership in rendering services to our communities,” Bautista said.
