POST-HARVEST CELEBRATION — Clad in their traditional garbs, young and old villagers of Hapao, Baang, and Nunguluhan in Hungduan, Ifugao converged at the Hapao River for the traditional post-harvest ritual called “punnuk” which was highlighted by the tug-of-war known as “guyyud”. The “punnuk” celebration has been inscribed in the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the Unesco in 2015 (Story on page 6). — Vince Dangiapo/DOT-CAR
