PRIMARY CARE NETWORKS — Baguio City represented by Mayor Benjamin Magalong is one of the five local government units and two private sector groups that agreed to form the first seven primary care networks in the country in line with the Universal Health Care Act, which defines “primary care” to be the first-contact, accessible, continuous, comprehensive and coordinated; accessible at the time of need; with a range of services for all presenting conditions; and able to coordinate referrals to other doctors, clinics and hospitals in the health care delivery system, when needed. — DOH photo
