Baguio’s own Jet Ramos will lead the Philippine Team to the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Finland and Ironman World Championships in France.

The Ibaloy triathlete, together with his wife and National Triathlon Team coach Lou Ann Hamada-Ramos and seven more Filipino athletes under their watch, will represent the Philippines in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships on Aug. 26 to 27.

After two weeks, Ramos will again race for the country’s pride and honor in the Ironman World Championships in Nice, France on Sept. 10.

On June 10 this year, Ramos recorded and won the fastest time and became the first Filipino to fi-nish the Ironman Ph Subic.

Ramos and Allesandra Castañeda, the fastest woman competitor, were also awarded a $1,000 prize money each from Century Tuna Ironman.

This was the second time Ramos took home the title as the fastest Pinoy in Ironman Subic as he clinched the same award in the 2022 Ironman PH Subic and finished second overall. 

At present, the Ramos couple with their three sons, Josh, Dash, and Euan Arrow are training and racing in Spain in preparation for their upcoming events. – Press release
