Running enthusiasts with their fur pets are invited to join the virtual run for-a-cause set Feb. 6 to 9 in celebration of the 4th anniversary of the Cordillera Animal Protection Advocates (CAPA), Inc.
“We are inviting all fur parents of all breeds, especially aspins, to join and support our cause,” organizers said.
Registration is ongoing until Feb. 9 with a fee of P250 for the two-kilometer and P350 for the four-km. category of the event where participants will pass through road and trails.
Dubbed “Run fur-a-cause,” all proceeds will go to the group’s free spay and neuter program this year.
Participants must download any tested running application, such as Strava, Run Keeper, Adidas running app, Huawei Health, Nike running club, Endomondo, Google Fit, etc. to record their run, walk, or jog.
The distance can be completed in a single run or multiple dates of run from Feb. 6 to 9. Runners are required to send a photo or video of their fur pets while going through the event.
Prizes await winners who will be announced on Feb. 10 at the CAPA’s Facebook page.
