Accomplished national wushu and kickboxing athlete Jean Claude Saclag will face fellow Filipino fighter Ronald Regalado in the main event of Benguet Explosion Martial Arts Tournament set at the Benguet Sports Complex on Dec. 6.

Saclag also saw action in other sports disciplines

The 28-year-old Saclag is currently a member of the Samahang Kickboxing ng Pilipinas squad and a former bemedaled member of the Philippine Wushu Team in his younger years.

Saclag also saw action in other sports disciplines having won gold medals in the no gi event of the 2023 Pan Asian International Open.

His first foray into the national team earned him a bronze during the 2013 Wushu World Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Regalado, on the other hand, has won some MMA fights and he hopes to add the Team Lakay fighter in the list of his victims.

Also to see action is ONE Championship Philippines winner Adonis Sevilleno against Reden Manguiat while Nahuel Gandolfi will face Rone Deliu.

Joris Jonker of Team Lakay will face Mark Obero while Conan Dela Peña will fight Neptali Ticar with John Ira Barrientos facing Duane Pascua.

Ezra Saclag will fight Wilmer Salpad while Firoz Khan will fight Eugene Tabinga in the event supported by Benguet Rep. Eric Go Yap and the provincial government.

Other matches scheduled during fight night are Jed Sayud versus Daryle Wadasen; Gamber Angcaway vs. Christian Gutierrez; Jerlyn Kingad vs. Jhen Buzon; Jyrisce Gean Legaspi vs. Judah Paul Saingan; Fritz Vicente vs. Onofre Ducusin, Jr.; and Elvester Gaspar vs. Reuben Sawang.
