The Saint Louis University Sacred Heart Medical Center Department of Pediatrics will hold its 1st Postgraduate Course (9th Scientific Forum) with the theme, “Eat, play, sleep, repeat: Bridging gaps in common childhood issues” on Oct. 15 at the Newtown Plaza Convention Center.

Drs. Clinton Balud, overall chair of the organizing committee, and Analee Manalo, chair of the scientific committee, said the course is open to all healthcare providers like physicians, nurses, midwives, occupational therapists, medical students, nursing students and others.

“This course will be highlighting three of the most common and practical concerns encountered by parents and caregivers, namely feeding issues, the importance of play and sleeping problems among pediatric patients and how these can be addressed,” they said.

The course is in cooperation with the Philippine Pediatric Society-Northern Luzon Chapter and the Baguio-Benguet Medical Society.
