SM City Baguio, a supporter of the city’s commitment to responsible growth and improving the lives of communities, has partnered with the Baguio General Hospital Advisory Board, a non-government organization that links the hospital with the community.
Through a series of corporate social responsibility programs, SM’s donation of P100,000 is in support of the 2nd International Food Festival on Oct. 22 that aims to help raise funds for indigent patients either for surgery or medicines.
“Part of the proceeds will be used for indigent patients. We have a certain amount for indigent patients, and we have an amount for senior citizens also, as long as they make a request we give it to them. We are supporting residents of Baguio, the Cordillera, and other areas. We are working hand in hand with the BGH so I hope our relationship will last a long time because without you, I don’t think any organization can survive without funding,” said BGHMC Advisory Board Vice Chair and OIC Joseph Rulla.
SM ensures its corporate social responsibility programs serve as catalyst for positive change for the community it serves.
Today, SM City Baguio continues bolstering efforts on social good which promotes the accessibility to basic needs that are foundational in achieving long-term community development, andcontinues to be a leader in responsible and sustainable business practices for the benefit of all. – Press release
