Renewable energy solutions provider SN Aboitiz Power-Benguet (SNAP-Benguet) has reaffirmed its plant systems’ world-class status after passing the Integrated Management System surveillance audit conducted by DQS Certification Philippines, Inc. on May 5 to 8.

The audit was done remotely, a first for SNAP-Benguet  and DQS, due to the enhanced community quarantine.

Based on DQS’s findings, SNAP-Benguet’s Ambuklao and Binga plants qualified to retain their certificates for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and ISO 55001:2014 Asset Management System.

The auditors took note of the management’s prompt response to stakeholders in light of the coronavirus disease-2019, proper reporting and review of key performance indicators, comprehensive documentations, the provision of more organized and accessible control systems, and emergency preparedness.

The auditors also found zero non-conformity in both plants.

SNAP president and Chief Executive Officer Joseph S. Yu commended the team not only for hurdling the surveillance audit, but also for the added challenge of having done the preparations and audit under ECQ conditions. – Press release
