The Philippine Statistics Authority Benguet will be conducting the nationwide October 2020 Labor Force Survey (LFS), the 2020 Survey on Overseas Filipinos, and Philippine Competition Commission (PCC).
The LFS is a nationwide quarterly survey of households to gather data on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population. It is aimed to provide a quantitative framework for the preparation of plans and formulation of policies affecting the labor market.
The 2020 SOF is designed to gather data on the number and socio-economic characteristics of overseas Filipinos and remittances. The survey will cover overseas Filipinos who left abroad from October 2015 to September 2020.
The PCC aims to be world-class authority in promoting fair market competition to help achieve vibrant and inclusive economy and advance consumer welfare. The survey aims to track how the extent of knowledge, perception, and attitudes of consumers has evolved.
In this round of survey, an integrated computer aided data collection system will be employed for the October 2020 LFS, 2020 SOF, and the PCC.
Thirty-two barangays in Baguio City and 24 barangays in the different municipalities of Benguet have been selected as sample areas.
