The 1st Tublay Mountain Bike ITT Challenge, which aims to raise funds for some schools for their modular learning, is set on Jan. 30 in Tublay, Benguet. 
“The event also aims to promote healthy living through biking aside from raising funds for the reproduction of modules of some identified schools in Tublay,” organizers said.
The event features road and mountain bike open category for 17 years old and below, 18 to 30; 31 to 40; 41 to 50; 51 and above, and the ladies open.
Participants will start at the Kamunayan bridge along the Gov. Bado Dangwa Road and will end at the Tublay School of Home Industries grounds.
Race starts at 8 a.m. and will follow the individual time trial format where riders in each category will be released with a one-minute interval.
The release time of riders depends on the time of their registration, but organizers discourage on-site registration.
Riders are required to observe health protocols at all times, especially before and after the race. Participants may opt not to wear face masks while racing.
Tire specifications are 1.95 and above (26er, 27.5er, and 29er).
Registration fee is P500 inclusive of race bib and morning snack.
There will be prizes for all categories with the champions getting P1,500; P1,200 for second placers, and P800 for the third placers aside from the trophies and medals.
Those who will rank fourth to 10th place will receive a medal each. Awarding will follow after the last rider arrives.
