Two race events around Baguio City are set on June 26 and July 24 to test the mettle of running enthusiasts while enjoying the city’s roads and sites.

First is the “Team Baguio Run en Chill’s Freedom Run 2022” on June 26 featuring 21-kilometer, 12K, and 6K.

The route consists of pure road runs and participants may view the route map once they register for the event.

Registration is until June 20 with 21K at P950, 12K at P750, and 6K at P600 inclusive of race shirt, race bib, finisher’s medal for distance finishers only, e-certificate with the runner’s time and rank in the race completed, snack at the finish line, and coffee.

Prizes await the winners.

Second is Team Malaya’s “Sub-Baguio Challenge” for 10K and 21K road runs set on July 24.

Organizers encourage runners to break their personal record and goals before 2022 ends.

Aside from the 21K and 10K, participants may also choose side events such as 5K and 3K.

Registration is ongoing. Fees are P1,750 for the 21K, P1,550 for 10K, P750 for the 5K and 3K.  

All registrants will have race bib, singlet, raffle, and snacks.

Organizers encourage participants to attend the briefing and distribution of race kits on July 23 at 4 p.m.

All runners must claim their kit personally and present a ID or vaccination card and proof of registration.
