U.S. TRAINING COMPLETED — Dr. Samantha Palaci Aquino of the Benguet State University College of Veterinary Medicine has completed her five-month participation in the Faculty Exchange Program (FEP) sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture this month. A member of the proud Ibaloy nation in Tuba, Benguet, Aquino is among the 10 veterinary educators from the Philippines who were chosen to be part of the program hosted by the University of Tennessee-Knoxville to strengthen animal health and production in the Philippines and Vietnam by increasing the number of veterinary teachers in Southeast Asia who have a well-rounded view of current veterinary medicine issues. — Contributed photo
