An official of the Department of Labor and Employment asked the unserved Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) applicants to register online for the immediate processing of their cash assistance.

Labor Asec. Dominique Tutay said the 700,000 formal sector workers who have applied for the cash aid have to encode their information on the DOLE website.

“The unserved applicants need not reapply. They need to register their information at www.reports.dole.gov.ph. They just follow the instructions there,” she said.

Tutay said these applicants will be prioritized in the new allocation under Bayanihan 2 or Bayanihan to Recover as One.

Under the CAMP, formal sector workers will get a one-time cash subsidy of P5,000.

Tutay added 800,000 workers are set to benefit from the more than P4 billion allotted for the program.

“An estimated 800,000 workers in the formal sector will benefit out of the P4.7B funds downloaded to our regions,” she said.

She added that they are eyeing to give out the cash assistance before Nov. 20.

“Sec. Silvestre Bello earlier said (the funds will be released) Nov 20, but we are hoping that before Nov. 20, the beneficiaries will start receiving their financial help,” Tutay said.
