WEAVING STRINGS OF PEACE — As part of the commemoration of the 37th Mt. Data Sipat or peace accord, various agencies and local government units joined the symbolic weaving of 37 strings of peace in solidarity for the aspiration for lasting peace and progress for the Cordillera. The participants led by Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity of the Philippines Carlito Galvez, Jr. pushed for the realization of this through the passing of the Autonomous Region of the Cordillera bill into law. — Ofelia Empian
