Our leaders during COVID-19 crisis
We have seen and witnessed the best and worst of our government leaders and workers during this pandemic.
The money and food intended for the ones who need it most did not reach them. Our President has appealed to the barangays to be honest and swift in distributing these items to the beneficiaries.
Some did not heed and those guilty are now under investigation. Our country will not move on if still we have this kind of leaders.
Public service is a public trust and those guilty (of breaking the public trust) should be punished.
We are lucky in the Cordillera that our leaders are exceptionally good and can be trusted upon. — NOEL C. MALLARI, Baguio City
