Two more Filipino mixed martial arts fighters earned impressive victories in the undercard of ONE Friday Fights 38 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Oct. 27.

During clinch, Biagtan, 28, unleashed a right knee that landed to the liver of his opponent then he followed it up with a solid right hook that sent the Indian’s mouthpiece flying.

Referee Muhammad Sulaiman saw the Indian fighter had suffered too much solid blows, forcing him to stop the fight at 1:13 mark of the opening round.

“I needed to finish him in the first round,” Biagtan said.

“I overcommitted and that’s why I was taken down, but I still managed to get up and get the finish,” he added.

ONE top honcho Chatri Sityodtong rewarded Biagtan with 350,000 Thailand baht for his superb win.

Meanwhile, Fi-lipino-New Zealander Mark Abelardo pulled off an amazing comeback and scored a shocking second round technical knockout win over Georgy Shahruramazanov.

Abelardo, who has fought some of the finest fighters in the division, connected with left hook to the Russian’s jaw and followed it up with a barrage of punches to end the fight at the 4:43 mark of round two.

Abelardo survived two huge spinning back kicks and refused to give up while being in an inopportune position as Shahruramazanov desperately tried to grapple his way to a win.
