The Wilson Chooks-to-Go 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be having its Cordillera leg on Feb. 10 at the Easter College gymnasium, Baguio City.

It will be the last leg in Northern Luzon and features the 15-under or those born 2008 and up, 17-under or those born in 2006 to 2007, 19-under or born in 2004 to 2005, and 21-under those born in 2002 and 2003.

Organizers said the event is open to all teams in nearby provinces but foreign players are not allowed.

Entry fee is pegged at P4,000 with the inclusion of four reversible jerseys per team, four specialized AO1 bronze medals for second runner-up for each category, four specialized AO1 silver medals for first runner ups of each category, and four specialized AO1 gold medals for champions.

Winners in each category will also receive four Chooks-to-Go chicken vouchers and four Wilson sensation basketballs.

The teams to be declared as champion per category will advance to the Wilson Chooks-to-Go 3×3 national finals in May.  

The event is organized by Wilson- Chooks to Go 3×3 invitational tournament, in partnership with the Audience of One (AO1) as its organizing committee.

The event is a grassroots program of the organizers, which aims to seek out young talents and build a talent pool for the country’s professional 3×3 basketball players.

Wilson Basketball is the official ball of the FIBA 3×3 and the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas. 

Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3, meanwhile, is a professional 3-on-3 basketball league in the Philippines and is organized by the country’s national basketball federation, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

It was formed in 2018 as a bid to get the Philippines to qualify for the 3×3 basketball event in the Summer Olympics.
