Mayor Benjamin Magalong lauded the 33 barangays that posted no new Covid-19 cases from Nov. 1 to 13, saying this is a result of the officials and residents’ diligence in guarding their health and complying with the health protocols.

“Let us always prioritize our health. Let us not put our guards down as the threat remains even if we have reopened business and entertainments and eased up some of the restrictions,” he said.

He encouraged other barangays to also aim for a respite from Covid-19 cases.

“Let us follow the health protocols whether we are inside or outside our homes. We should do it not only for ourselves but for our loved ones, too,” he said.

Those commended were barangays North Sanitary Camp, Middle Quirino Hill, Happy Hallow, Camp 8, Lucnab, Alfonso Tabora, Country Club Village, Hillside, Atok Trail, San Antonio Village, Hillside, Atok Trail, San Antonio Village, Lower Dagsian, Campo Filipino, and Andres Bonifacio (Lower Bokawkan).

Lourdes Subdivision Ext., Sto. Tomas School Area, Lower Magsaysay, Upper Market Subdivision., Manuel A. Roxas, San Roque Village, Bal-Marcoville, Pucsusan, Upper Dagsian, and Lourdes Subdivision Proper also did not record cases from Nov. 1 to 13.

Also lauded were Lower General Luna, North Central Aurora Hill, South Drive, Harrison-Claudio Carantes, Lower Lourdes Subd., Kayang Hilltop, Session Road area, Kabayanihan, Malcolm Square-Perfecto, and Bagong Lipunan. – Aileen P. Refuerzo
