ADOPTED DAUGHTER — The province of Ifugao has adopted Budget and Management Secretary Amenah Pangandaman as an honorary daughter of the province during adoption rites at the Ifugao State University where she was the graduation’s guest of honor and speaker. Ifugao officials led by Gov. Jerry Dalipog and Vice Gov. Glenn Prudenciano awarded the resolution of adoption to Pangandaman who was given the native name of “Malinnay” which in Ifugao mythology symbolizes a woman of exceptional beauty and charisma. — Redjie Cawis
