The Baguio Legends has overcome the Cabanao Condors, 14-12, to emerge as champions in the slo-pitch tournament of the 3rd Lawana Cup in the city on weekend.
Private Schools Athletic Association (Prisaa) 2019 national and reigning Baguio-Benguet Educational Athletic League (BBEAL) defending champion University of the Cordilleras Jaguars edged the Baguio squad in baseball.
The Baguio squad is bound for this year’s Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association (Caraa) Meet while the Baguio Classic came in third.
The UC Jaguars also finished third in the slow-pitch competition.
In the junior division, Team Baguio high school squad which will compete in the upcoming Caraa meet this month won the championship trophy followed by the Baguio City National High School Blue Jays and BCNHS Orioles in that order. 
Individual awardees in junior baseball were Diosdado Cornelia as best pitcher, Salwine Manimbayan with the most home runs, and Jhazel Ferrer as the best catcher and best hitter honoree.
Jasper Bryan Bravo was named best pitcher in the seniors’ category while Jon Carlo Pandosen emerged the best catcher while Elaizer Kirk Lapena and Angelito Garwageo won the best hitter and most home runs, respectively.
Ben Ballucan won the best pitcher plum in slo-pitch with Virgilio Lapeña as most defensive player, while Ryan Lapeña had the most homerun.
Norman Danglay was named best slugger while Prado Digmayo won the golden glove award. 
Organized by Councilor Michael Lawana with UC and BCNHS coach Rafael Lapeña as partners, the tournament, held for six days in February and March aimed to bring back the glory of batted balls in Baguio. – Press release
