More trail runs are set in Tuba and Kibungan, Benguet in April.
In Tuba, the Makedsang 2020 is slated April 5, which will usher runners through the breathtaking views of Barangay Ansagan passing through its historic caves.
The trail run features 50-kilometer, 21-km, and 10-km categories with registration ongoing until March 21.
Registration fee for the 50-km run is P2,500 for early registrants and P2,800 for late registrants while the 21-km is P1,500 for early birds and P1,800 for late registrants.
Registration for 10-km is P800 for early registrants and P1,100 for late registrants.
Included in the registration are finisher’s medal, customized bib number, Makedsang shirt, pre-run dinner, post-run meal, finisher’s certificate and aid station food. First aid personnel and marshals are also provided.
Interested participants may register at Hagat Consultancy Office, 2nd Floor Amicos Pension House, Cor. Roman Ayson Road and Campo Filipino Road and Lagalag Baguio at Upper Session Road, Baguio City.
Participants may also register at Aid Station Cafe in Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet and at the Tuba Municipal Tourism Office.

Kibungan is also ready for trail running enthusiasts as it hosts the Philippine Mountain Marathon, April 18.
One of the grueling trail runs in the region, the mountain run features vertical run; 42-km run with 4,000-feet elevation gain; 21-km with 3,000-feet elevation gain; and 12-km runs.
Registration is set until first week of April for the vertical run at P1,500 for 50 slots only; 42-km at P3,500 for 50 slots only;  21-km at P2,500 for 100 slots only; and 12-km at P1,800.
The event, organized by Team Malaya, is recognized by the Asia Trail Master, meaning finishers of the trail run gets points qualifying them for the ATM races.
