The Benguet National High School (BeNHS), the largest school in the province, received its Safety Seal Certification in time for the limited face-to-face instruction from the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
The school was found compliant with the Minimum Public Health Standards (MPHS) and is implementing digital contact tracing integrated to StaySafe.ph application.
The BeNHS Safety Seal certificate is valid until August.
Director Jocelyn D.R. Andaya from the Department of Education Central Office-Bureau of Curriculum and Development, DepEd-Cordillera Director Estela L. Cariño, and Benguet Schools Division Superintendent Gloria B. Buya-ao graced the opening of the limited face-to-face classes for Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) students on Feb. 17 at the BeNHS covered court. The TVL students demonstrated their skills and applied what they learned.
While observing the MPHS protocols, the students work on their tools in their laboratories. Those enrolled in Cookery prepared their food plates for the guests while others showed their skills in table setting, hospitality. Other students demonstrated their skills in hair-cut and hairdressing.
