LICENSED — The Bontoc Municipal Health Office has received PhilHealth accreditation valid until Dec. 31, 2024. BONTOC, Mountain Province – The Bontoc Rural Health Unit-Konsulta has been granted a certificate of accreditation by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation.
Municipal Health Officer Diga Kay Gomez said validity of the accreditation is from Feb. 16 to Dec. 31, 2024.
The Municipal Health Office laboratory has also been issued a license to operate as a primary and non-institution-based care facility by the Department of Health valid from Jan. 1 until Dec. 23, 2023.
The clinical laboratory provides microscopy, hematology, serology, and microbiology services.
Mayor Jerome Tudlong Jr. said the granting of a license to operate and accreditation allows for a more efficient and affordable approach to improving and promoting public health which is one of his administration’s priorities.
“We believe that ensuring the health of our community is essential. Thus, improving health facilities and delivering effective health services or programs help create a safe and more resilient community,” Tudlong said. – Christy Mae Che-es
