Foundever, a global leader in the customer experience industry, makes a transformative, pioneering contribution to empowering the workforce in the Cordillera.

The effort is facilitated through a partnership with the Department of Labor-Cordillera and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-Cordillera.

“Our connected world opens up many job opportunities for workers and professionals in the Cordillera – opportunities not only in the Philippines but even internationally – and Filipino workers in CAR will have an advantage once they level up their skills and training,” said Foundever Baguio Site head Vida Haboc.

Foundever is also the largest private employer in the region.

“This is where our partnership with DOLE-Cordillera and Tesda-Cordillera comes in; by providing language and skills training to the CAR workforce, we can change their lives for the better and help them achieve their dreams,” she added.

Partners in the endeavor play a crucial role not only in empowering the Cordillera’s workforce but also subsequently helping drive economic growth for the region.

“This partnership with globally respected organizations like Foundever, whose expertise in their field is beyond question, and who is a highly-rated, preferred employer in the Philippines, is truly a pioneering and game-changing effort for the Cordillera,” said DOLE-Cordillera Assistant Director and OIC Emerito Ngarag.

“As the government’s main agency mandated to develop the country’s workforce, the DOLE looks forward to the implementation of the partnership and the many benefits that will result for CAR workers and the CAR’s economy,” he added.

The tripartite partnership was signed at the Foundever Baguio City headquarters and is expected to transform the local labor landscape.

Present during the partnership signing were Haboc, Talent Acquisition Director Rowel Villalobos, Narag, and Tesda-Cordillera Assistant Director Jimmicio Daoaten.

“With DOLE mapping labor demands and skills gaps and Tesda matching skills development with labor market needs – all of these combined with language and skills training from Foundever – we can expect to more powerfully boost the development of the Cordillera workforce,” Daoaten said.

“This partnership enables our workers to reach for greater opportunities and allow them to meet the challenges of the current and future labor market. This is really the ideal partnership to benefit the local workforce,” he said. – Press release
