Four Team Lakay fighters will see action in the stacked ONE:Winter Warriors II set at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Dec. 17.

Two-time ONE bantamweight world champion Kevin Belingon is leading Team Lakay warriors who will face formidable opponents.

The 32-year-old Belingon was last seen in action in October 2020, when he was stopped by hard-hitting Brazilian John Lineker.

Now ranked second in the bantamweight division, Belingon aims to get back on the winning track when he takes on South Korea’s Kwon Won Il.

Former flyweight contender Danny Kingad will face former ONE flyweight world champion Kairat Akhmetov of Kazakstan after their supposed encounter in November 2020 was called off due to the pandemic.

Former Brave Combat Federation longest  bantamweight champion Stephen Loman and upcoming fighter Jhanlo Mark Sangiao will finally make their debut in Asia’s biggest media sports property.

Loman, whose debut in ONE is one of the much-awaited events among millions of fans, will go up against YusupSaadulaev, who is ranked third in the deep bantamweight division.

Unbeaten prospect Sangiao, who is Team Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao’s son, will be up against Paul Lumihi of Indonesia.

“We are honored by the trust that ONE Championship has placed in Team Lakay. This is a huge opportunity for us to close the year on a positive note, and we are very proud to represent the Philippines on the biggest global stage of martial arts competition,” said the older Sangiao. – Harley F.
