Qualified in the Search for Healthiest Mother and Baby are babies born from July 2020 to January 2022 (six months to two years old) and babies are born via normal delivery.

The contest aimed to raise community awareness and inculcate health and nutrition habits for children at an early age for healthy living. It also aimed to promote health consciousness among mothers regarding different factors affecting the health of children and detecting ill health and sickness at early stages.

Bontoc Mayor Jerome Tudlong, Jr., lauded the winners, saying in the roadmap of the administration for the next three years, “Enlangakha: Achieving the Vision for a Dynamic Bontoc”, one of its pillars is to empower communities by giving paramount importance on the promotion of health and nutrition. The activity was organized by the Municipal Health Office under Dr. Diga Kay Gomez. – Alpine L. Killa-Malwagay
