ITOGON, Benguet – Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation Inc. (CLFI), the social responsibility arm of Cebuana Lhuillier, has embarked on a transformative journey of community building in partnership with the Municipality of Itogon, Benguet.
Through a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony on March 22, CLFI and Itogon municipality reaffirmed their shared commitment to fostering sustainable growth and prosperity within the community.
At the heart of the collaborative effort lies a collective vision for a future where every individual has access to financial inclusion and empowerment. By focusing on community development initiatives centered on financial literacy and inclusion, CLFI and Itogon aim to equip residents with the knowledge and resources necessary to navigate their financial futures successfully.
Jean Henri Lhuillier, president and chief executive officer of Cebuana Lhuillier, emphasized the significance of collaborating with the municipality to ensure targeted and impactful assistance to the community.

The MOU signing also served as a celebration of local culture and traditions, showcasing the rich heritage of the people of Itogon.

In addition to community-building efforts, CLFI enhanced educational opportunities by providing ICT equipment and free ProtectMax Insurance to Alternative Learning System learners donated by Cebuana Lhuillier Insurance Brokers.
