A three-day journey to Mount Pulag has been set Feb. 25 to 27 with participants passing through the Tawangan trail, also known as the “enchanted trail.”
Dubbed “Date with the Peak,” the event will allow participants to pass through one of the thickest mossy forests in Luzon through the trail used by Tawangan folks when going to the peak of Mount Pulag.
Participants will converge at the Benguet Capitol for the on-site registration at 6 a.m. of Feb. 25 before going to Poblacion, Kabayan via the Benguet-Nueva Vizcaya Road.
Participants will be toured at the Kabayan National Museum where one of the well-preserved mummies is kept before proceeding to Tawangan passing through vegetable terraces and the Tabeyo Lake.
A community immersion and cultural night will be held to cap day one.
Ascent to Mount Pulag starts on day two via the Tawangan trail with the participants converging at Camp 3, where they will set up their tents.
Assault to the peak of Mount Pulag starts at 4 a.m. of Feb. 27 for sunrise and sea of clouds viewing. 
Participants will descend to the Ranger Station at Babadak, Kabayan for the closing program-cum-lunch before going back to Baguio and Benguet via Ambangeg.
Registration fee is P2,500 inclusive of entrance fee, tour guide fee, roundtrip fare, four meals, certificate, and tokens.
