TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The Bureau of Immigration (BI) granted authority to the Kalinga State University to accept foreign students in its campuses.

KSU-Bulanao Campus is accredited to offer Midwifery (Diploma), Bachelor of Science in Public Administration, Criminology, Forestry, Agriculture, Agricultural Technology, Elementary and Secondary Education, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Development Communication, Entrepreneurship, and Hospitality Management, and junior high school.

Under temporary accreditation are BS Forensic Science, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Midwifery, BS Biology, BS Mathematics, BS Tourism Management, juris doctor, and senior high school.

KSU-Dagupan Campus will offer foreign students the following courses: AB English, AB History, AB Political Science, BS Accountancy, BS Business Administration, and BS Office Administration.

KSU will also offer the following graduate programs: Master of Arts in Education, Master of Public Administration, Master of Science in Rural Development, PhD in Community Development, and PhD in Development Education.

Dr. Pinky Gas-ib, director for Distance Education, Transnational Education and International Linkages, said the authorization will strengthen the internationalization efforts and initiatives of the university.  

A Foreign Student Unit will be established with a designated employee of the school who will exclusively assist or represent the school’s foreign students in all transactions with the BI. – Peter Balocnit
